2020 looks a lot like 2019.

If Sci-Fi movies mentioned 2020, it was always very hi-tech. The computers might have been the size of washing machines, but there were flying cars, humanoid robot servants (usually homicidal), and lots and lots of polyester.

Did any of them predict teeny tiny computers you could fit in your pocket? No. But, if they had, would they have been homicidal?

Anyway, despite the lack of flying cars, 2020 it is. I hope it's a kind and gentle year for us all. *hugs*

The Moon was supposed to be a colony by now too. We're well behind schedule. Tsk, tsk. The super rich (including Trump) were supposed to be up there and suddenly discovering the drawbacks of living in an alien landscape.

I'm quite disappointed.
