13. What's your favorite childhood story or fairy tale?
When I was a kid, I was fascinated by The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Even then, I thought they were terrible people for not caring what happened to the princes who were executed.

Now, I have a definite fondness for Cinderella.

They were a bit hardcore, really, but then a lot of fairy tales are!!

I don't think I read a lot of the hardcore versions when I was a kid. IIRC, they were watered down a lot. No chopping off toesies to make the shoe fit, etc.
