Shrek Forever After (2010)

I was poking around Netflix looking for something to watch and found this. Oh my goodness! It's Shrek meets It's a Wonderful Life and it's brilliant.

Shrek is happily married, everyone is his friend, it's the babies' first birthday, and he's bored. Gone are the days when people screamed and ran away from him. No, now they ask him to do the roar! All he wants is to relive one day when he was feared and hated. Is that so wrong?

Enter Rumpelstiltskin, who'll give him everything he wants and more.

Very minor spoilers.

I loved it. Seriously loved it. It's Shrek learning to fall in love all over again, only now, he knows what's at stake.

I love that they included Puss in Boots, only he's retired and not quite in his former shape.

I never saw that; I have to admit after the second sequel I stopped being interested in more. But that actually sounds pretty good.

I loved the first and liked the second quite a bit. The third I was meh on. This one was awesome. I really enjoyed it.
