Des O'Connor has gone.

He was a well-known and well-loved entertainer who truly seemed to have been a genuinely lovely person. I liked him a lot. It's no surprise he was an extremely popular TV presenter.

It is very sad. He really did seem very nice, and always so very happy. But Eric and Ernie will be glad to see him.

They were apparently! A lot of those old ones were. I suppose they'd done so much theatre/pier work together over the years. It's tough, and it forges bonds.
