And the handy tip of the day is...

...when you're opening up your new toilet rim block dispenser, complete with small plastic bottle of liquid rim block, do *not* open it up while standing over the toilet itself.

The plastic bottle will fall out and go down the toilet. Then, when you curse then run and grab a pair of rubber gloves so you can stick your hand down and retrieve said bottle, it will disappear up the U-bend and have to be flushed away.

ARGH!

Good thing I bought a double pack of refills while I was there. ::face/palm::
