Sentinel get together!
Sep. 17th, 2005 06:08 pmI've just got back from Gill's where I met three new Sentinel fans...well, four if you count Gill who I'd never met before.
fluterbev was there too, and she and Rae were the only two I already knew.
We watched "Blind Man's Bluff" and "Breaking Ground" (two very good episodes, IMO), plus the bloopers and various interviews and Sentinel related goodies like the promos for the Sentinel. We also got to watch parts of Richard's "Seinfeld" episode and "Just Shoot Me", both of which I've seen before, plus an episode of "Action!" which featured Richard as a gay movie actor. It was funny, but I can understand why it was cancelled; I suspect it's too close to how Hollywood actually works for a lot of networks to be comfortable with it being out there.
I had an absolute blast and I hope we can all get together again at some point. I'm hoping to meet up with Gill soon, especially as she's not that far from me, and Bev and I have plans for another meet up ourselves too.
Btw, my icon is one I made myself...based on GardenDoor's Bert & Ernie = Jim & Blair idea. Personally, I can totally see the resemblance!

It was, it was a huge amount of fun. I wish you could have been there.
Btw, I found a couple of Bodie pictures (and a couple of really nice Doyle pictures to use as icons. Feel free to borrow 'em and customise.

Date: 2005-09-17 07:12 pm (UTC)That is a gorgeous pic of Bodie. Unfortunately, I've already got three Pros icons (well, two and one promised) and only one spot for them, so I'm already figuring out how often I'm going to swap them. Another one added would be an embarrassment of riches. :-(
