I think it may be. Now that you mention it, I have a vague memory of maybe encountering the term in this context before, but I don't think it's common in the US.

OTOH, I'm a bit vanilla when it comes to sex terms -- not that I'm a prude, but I just haven't had exposure. Maybe it's just that I live in a staid part of the country...

It isn't common US slang, merely borrowed by a few from the UK. I had to think about also before I realized what it meant. Of course, if this hadn't been the LJ of a gen writer, I wouldn't have missed a beat, just assuming it would HAVE to be about sex.
