There are some now available for the Kindle. \o/

If you haven't read any of the books, they both write murder mysteries. Charlotte MacLeod's are set in the US - her Kelling/Bittersohn mysteries usually centre around Boston - while Marian Babson's are frequently set in the UK. They're not graphic, and are usually pretty funny too.

I like both writers - Marian Babson has written some pretty funny ones centering around cats :)

The only problem with the cats books is that the publishers have renamed a whole stack of her books to make them sound more cat-centric. Not so great when you've got a lot of them and don't realise it's the same book with a different title!

My favourite of hers though is "Weekend for Murder". It's about a small hotel and the owners/staff who run murder mystery weekends, only, one weekend, it all turns real.

I'm thrilled that they're releasing them for the Kindle. I've been checking and re-checking for her and Charlotte MacLeod for ages now.

I read a few Charlotte MacLeod books years ago and remember thinking they were good. Maybe I need to read more of hers, and check out Marian Babson sometime! Thanks!

I love Charlotte MacLeod's Sarah Kelling/Max Bittersohn books. Her family have got to be the weirdest ones ever!

I'm currently reading one of the Marian Babson's I bought. I think it's one I haven't read before either!

I'm pretty sure I did know that - I definitely recognise the name. I don't think I've read any of them yet. Thanks, Ande.
