My handmade Christmas cards
Dec. 8th, 2012 04:38 pmIf anyone's interested in having a look, here are some of the cards I've made. The quality of the pictures isn't so great. I was experimenting with the camera function on my Kindle Fire. Taking pictures involved me holding the card over the Kindle Fire, hoping my USB lamp was giving enough light, and hitting the 'take picture' button on the screen. Rather more complicated than I'd planned!

At least I haven't mislaid this lot like I did the ones I made last year. :oD

Date: 2012-12-08 06:38 pm (UTC)Oh neat! And you're the first person I've known who's managed to use a Kindle as a camera.
They're all incredibly pretty - I have no idea how you find the patience to do it, but they're fabulous. Aren't you clever! Thanks for taking the time (and going through the fiddling about) to show them to us. ♥

Date: 2012-12-09 08:48 pm (UTC)As for the Kindle and its camera, it's a bit of a cheat, really. Although the camera is built in, so you can use it for Skyping, you have to buy a programme (88p, I think it was) to access it to use it as a camera. Talk about daft!
