Dec. 18th, 2012 04:36 pmInstagram has updated their privacy policy. According to the article, users have to delete their accounts by 16th January in order to stop Instagram from having the right to sell their photos to advertisers without notification. It also means they can share their users' info with Facebook and 3rd party advertisers.
Their wording: "To help us deliver interesting paid or sponsored content or promotions, you agree that a business may pay us to display your username, likeness, photos, in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to you."
I can't imagine Instagram users are going to be happy over that. Instagram is owned by Facebook. Is Facebook planning on doing the same thing?
