Tesco's ready-made jacket potatoes
Jan. 21st, 2013 03:54 pmEasy-peasy. Or not.
Step 1: Take out of fridge and remove cardboard sleeve.
Step 2: Put into microwave and turn timer to 5.5 minutes.
Step 3: Realise you've forgotten to remove the film lid, dive at microwave, remove tub from microwave, remove film lid from tub, replace tub in microwave.
Step 4: Once the pinger goes, remove tub from microwave and gaze in confusion at your practically stone-cold jacket potatoes.
Step 5: Realise you forgot to turn the heat to high. Change heat.
Step 6: Put tub back into microwave, and knock the glass plate off its stand.
Step 7: Remove tub. Put glass plate back onto stand, carefully replace tub.
Step 8: Slam door and wonder if you really want jacket potatoes. Turn timer back on because you refuse to be defeated.
Step 9: Pinger goes, remove easy-peasy jacket potatoes from microwave and mentally dare them to be anything less than perfect.
After all that, they were okay. I probably would have enjoyed them more if I hadn't had such a fight to prepare them!
