30 Days of Song - Day 06

Day 06 - A song that reminds of you of somewhere.

It feels like I'm cheating with this one. The Beatles' Penny Lane reminds me of...Penny Lane in Liverpool and of Liverpool itself. I went past the top of Penny Lane a number of times on my way to music college, so the connection is rather obvious. :oD

I wouldn't worry about it, if the song reminds you of somewhere then that counts, even if it's named after the place it reminds you of!!! :D Penny Lane is a good song too!

I'm thinking of doing this meme, but there's some that I just can't answer (for various reasons), so I may end up cheating by just sticking in a song that I like for those ones!

I think I'll have to have a go then, though it's more than a couple I struggled with!! Also, the wedding and funeral songs are the same one (a hymn that I love), so I guess I'll do them on the same day and add a bonus day on the end with lots of songs I wanted to use but couldn't!! :D

I need to sort out a music icon too...

So true! I got 3 of their albums for my birthday too. The White album, the Red album, and the Blue album... I think there's a theme here. :oD
