That's a hilarious exchange and I hope it's for real, but I would personally never reply to any SMS or email from a complete stranger that seemed dodgy, nor would I recommend anyone else risk it either. It's better to delete, ignore and block dodgy stuff in this day and age, even if some humor might arise from going for a confrontation.

You're welcome! I saw another one along the same lines, but the unsub code was a complete jumble of letters and digits, and the spammee kept on saying "Incorrect!"
