17. What self-care things do you find helpful to ground yourself or "talk yourself down from the ledge" when you’re overwhelmed by your feelings or by stress?

Playing Spider or a puzzle video game. It distracts me enough that I can calm down.

I find sudoku is great. That's if I can't get out. Sometimes if things get a bit crazy, I like to go for a walk to the little lake near me (it's a glorified pond, really), and watch the ducks for a bit. There's something about water. Helps if it's a nice day, and I manage to choose a time where there's no endless succession of people about! (It's mean to make me share public spaces!)
