Paul Biegel seems completely forgotten. His books were very popular when I was small. "The Dwarfs Of Nosegay" was another. Long gone from bookshelves. Funny how that happens to some authors.

There's a book I really enjoyed by Anthony Buckeridge called A Funny Thing Happened about a brother and sister having to spend their holiday with their eccentric uncle who's the stereotypical absent-minded professor. If Anthony Buckeridge's books get any attention though, it's always the Jennings ones.
