Diamond embroidery. Not the full size kits, but little cards or keyrings.

I've been thinking of getting BACK into hobbies I used to do. I used to sketch, make baskets, and embroider. I haven't pick any of them up in years; since I moved.

I started making baskets when I was taking classes to earn my archaeology tech certificate. I was very medicated at the time (PTSD) and thought I heard my profession say "make a basket" over our Thanksgiving holiday weekend (four days). So, I gathered the materials I thought I would need and started working on it. I was even working on it at the dinner table. My teacher laughed and asked me, very sincerely, if she could keep my basket. She said it was really good for a first basket. The last time I asked about it, she has it sitting in her home. She really likes it. Wish I had a photo of it. I bought twine and used embroidery yarn to tie the twine together in a looping method. I was quite proud of it and proud she wanted to keep it.

Aww, that's so sweet that she's kept it! Baskets really come in handy too.
