11 What's something you've experienced that very few others have?

I'm positive I've seen an orb.

This was about 30 years ago. I was asleep in bed and I woke up suddenly. There was a round light right next to my bed. It ws really bright but it didn't light up the area surrounding it - there was a sharp cut off point between the light itself and the darkness surrounding it.

I looked at it for a couple of seconds, then it seemed to realise I was awake and it shot past my head and disappeared into my headboard.

I worked in a building that was haunted. I think the ghosts either didn't like me or were afraid of me. Shit kept happening to others and some of the incidents were scary, causing one guy to refuse to enter a part of the building. I could understand if it were jerks, but some of the people were good friends.

I did have some things that weren't easy to explain, but over all I didn't have anything happen to me. A fire station was right across from the building and I once went over to ask them if anything strange ever happened after we were gone. They said that the lights would turn off and on all night.

I was in law enforcement, so we didn't ever talk about what was happening. In 2007, after I was almost retired (I was fighting the county in court. I have PTSD), I met someone affiliated with the Ghost Hunters tv series here in the states and gave him the address. I warned them that the county might not allow them inside. Nothing ever came of it, so either they didn't choose to do a show about it or the county wouldn't allow it.
