Emoticons

Having caved and become a paid up member of LJ, I can have my own emoticons (or whatever the word is for them - those little smiley, saddy, frowny things that show my current mood). There's just one problem...

...I suck at making this kind of stuff myself, and I have no idea where to find any 'ready made and free to borrow' ones. Anyone got any ideas?

Good on you. I think I'm at the 'next' step. I need more icon space *g*
To get the LJ mood icons you need to go to the front page of your journal and go to 'manage'. Zip across until you come to 'customise'. Once you're here you'll see 'modify journal' Click on this and scroll down to near the bottom and you'll see 'select mood icon'. Then you can pick whatever takes your fancy. I don't know how to import different ones though.

Thanks, Jess! I picked 'Bruce's Dwaggins' because they're kinda cute. Plus I like the whole idea of being able to breathe fire on those that annoy me. ;o)

As for my Mum, we've found a home that will take her, but they want to assess her first. I'm hoping they don't turn out to be a nightmare of a home too.
