1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
Yep. "Sarah" is from my great-grandmother, while "Margaret" was my grandma's middle name.

2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
Not really. I notice names that I like but I doubt if I'll have any kids to name. There's always cats though. :oD

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
Robert.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I like "Daisy"; unfortunately, I think you have to be quite dainty to carry it off, and dainty just isn't me.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
Nope. "Sarah" is a common enough name that most people know it.

Hee! I used to complain incessantly as a child that I hadn't been named after anyone. One day, my normally meek mother rounded on me and said, "OK, LOOK. One of your grandmothers is named Verna and the other is named Mozelle. Which would you LIKE to have been named after?"

I shut up after that. :)

I think Sarah is such a lovely name.

Thanks, Pat. I've gone through periods of not liking it much at all. At the moment, it's in favour. :oD

Btw, I think 'Patricia' is *far* lovelier than Verna or Mozelle. What were their parents thinking?!

LOL - my best friend at school - a lovely farmer's lass with bright orange hair and pink skin - was named Hilda after a grandparent. She never ever forgave her parents, and never ever used that name either! Why do parents do these things? I love Sarah - I was almost Sarah-Jane. Though Daisy is nice... *hg*

Oh dear, Hilda is quite bad. I hope her middle name (or whatever name she used) was much nicer!

As for parents who do these things, I can only think it's temporary insanity.

I like the name Daisy. :oD
