At last! I know, I know, what *have* I been doing? Anyway, they're resized, all from Denise and her fabulous camera, and they're under the cut.




Garett showing that men CAN wear this season's must have fashion accessory.


Cascade showing that she knows a good thing when she sees it (or him).


Dillinger showing that he doesn't know a good thing when he sees it. Guess this is why there aren't many raccoons on quiz shows.


The raccoon gets on the clue bus.


And the bear demonstrates why he's higher up the food chain than Dillinger.

That second one of Garett and Cascade is the best one yet I've seen of that moment. And who amongst us wouldn't want to be the one nuzzling Garett's bicep?

The Garett and Cascade pic is gorgeous, isn't it? Talk about being at exactly the right place at the right time to snap it.

They're all good (okay, great), but that pic of Garett and Cascade is the best I've seen!

Janet, who made the quilt this year, is planning a quilt for Garett, with pics of him and the animals on it. Ask Denise if she'd be willing to have that pic included. If so, I'll pass on Janet's email addy.

I bet Garett will be thrilled! Those quilts must take Janet ages to make.

I know that Denise will be pleased about it too, so there won't be any problem with Janet using it at all. Denise said that she knows once the pictures go up on the internet, people will do what they want with them, and she's fine with that.

Does Janet need the picture to be any particular size?

I'm Denise and what Arnie (Sarah) said is true.

I have no problem with people using my pictures posted on the web. Additionally, I gave Arnie permission to post these pics, so if Janet (or anyone for that matter) wants to use the pictures, I grant blanket permission. If possible, it's nice to give me credit, but it's not a requirement (especially in this instance of the quilt where credit would be difficult at best, if not impossible).

The quilt was very nice.

Garett was spectacular. I especially loved that as the day went by and the humidity went up, his curls got curlier (is that a word?).

Hi, Arnie,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you; school started and all is hectic.

Yes, Janet needs a specific size, and I've been editing and sizing the pictures for her. Part of that is using a very high pixel count, so that she can get the best print possible. If I just copy the picture from here, it won't be as clear as the others.

Could you ask Denise to send me the original picture direct? Then I'll resize it and include it on the CD I'm sending to Janet. My email is rusty.lilly -at- earthlink.net

Also, if she'd include the name she wants to be credited with, Janet intends to put all the contributers' names on the quilt.

Speaking of CDs - I'm almost done with editing everything, and then I'll offer a CD of last year's and this year's pics to whoever wants them. If you're interested, it'll be in my LJ when I'm ready to distribute them.
