That's my path!
Sep. 9th, 2020 01:17 pmElaine (my aunt) was popping in today to drop off laundry. She rang me to say she was on her way, then rang again 15 minutes later to say she was outside and couldn't get in because my front path had been freshly cemented.
Awesome! It's been a trip hazard for years, so it's great that it's finally fixed. Only...
...No one told me. And I have carers 4 times a day who don't need to be Mission: Impossibling their way over my roof in order to get to me.
Fortunately, Elaine spotted that the trees next door have been tied back so there's a small gap for able-bodied people to get through from their path to by my front door. Me and my tank of an electric wheelchair would not make it through.
I wonder if I'll get a letter next week stating they're fixing my path on the 9th and to contact my housing association if it needs to be rescheduled?
