You have to use the lj code. I'd show you but it keeps coming up as the link. Here's the LJ FAQ to eplain it, and a number of other useful codes as well.

That's okay, thank you! The codes came through fine on my email notification. And I did check the FAQ on how to link to another journal, but the way they told me just gave me the link (and the code was far longer than the one you posted) without the little icon.
