Christmas Five
What is your fave thing about Christmas?
Having time off. It's a chance to stop *having* to do something, and just do fun stuff without feeling guilty.

Did you believe in Santa Clause? If so, what was the best gift from him?
Oh yeah! The best gift was this beautiful doll with blonde curly hair I received when I was 4. I put her up on the windowsill so everyone could admire her because she was *the* most beautiful doll in the world. 4 year olds don't understand about radiators and plastic. When I went back, her legs had melted. I was devastated, and guilt-ridden for years. Thank God Toy Story hadn't been made then. That doll was also the most memorable gift from my childhood.

Do you have a Christmas Tree? Ribbon, Angel, Star or ______ on Top?
Yep. It has an Angel for the top.

Best stocking stuffer you got?
A friend of mine is also a Garrison's Gorillas fan, and we'd had a conversation about Garrison and how well he did the 'snake crawl' on his stomach. That year she gave me a battery operated soldier who crawled across the ground while shooting a gun!

Wishing for a White Christmas?
Nope. I'd rather have an unseasonably warm Christmas.

I still hate poodles because Lee Ann Holt's poodle bit my skipper doll's foot off when I was 5.

It's weird what you never forget, isn't it? Do you still know Lee Ann? Or is she forever remembered as "Lee Ann Holt whose poodle bit my skipper doll's foot off when I was 5"?

I had the doll for a few more years. I used to play hospitals with her - bandage her legs and promise to look after her. I think my Mum threw her out in the end.
