Fictional character meme again

leesa_perrie gave me an H. So here I go again.
1. Harry Potter, also Hermione Granger, also Hagrid, from (as you might have guessed) the Harry Potter series. I like the books and films a lot, especially the 3rd book, Prisoner of Azkaban. I really do like stories where the poor despised relative (Cinderella, anyone?) turns out to be much more important than anyone realised, plus wizards and magic! Yay!
2. Holly from Red Dwarf. The genuis computer which isn't such a genius after spending umpteen years alone while Dave Lister was in suspended animation. He (then she, then he) had a very dry wit, and managed to put up with spending a great deal of time with the aforementioned Dave Lister, a hologram of a dead crewmember, the Cat (who was descended from a long line of cats, and had great taste in clothes) and a robot.
3. Hercule Poirot, that famous Belgian detective with the leetle grey cells and the large moustaches, created by Agatha Christie. Coincidentally, Holly (see answer #2) was a fan of Hercule Poirot books, and once asked Dave to wipe his memory of them so he could read them all over again for the first time. My favourite Hercule Poirot film is Murder on the Orient Express, which starred as many famous actors/actresses as could be shoehorned into the cast, including Albert Finney as Hercule himself. My favourite version of Monsieur Poirot, though, is the one portrayed by David Suchet. He really *is* Hercule.
4. Hugh Beringar, Sheriff ofNottingham Shrewsbury, from the Cadfael books by Ellis Peters. ::sigh:: I had a massive crush on the character from the books, spent a few minutes thinking, "That's not what Hugh's supposed to look like!" when the TV series (starring Derek Jacobi as Cadfael, and Sean Pertwee as Hugh) started, then promptly developed a massive crush on the TV series version of Hugh. That abruptly disappeared once Sean Pertwee left the series, but that might also have been because the adaptations went downhill rapidly once he'd gone. Anyway...Hugh...honourable, trustworthy, got a good sense of humour, *and* he's good with a sword. (No double entendre intended, I assure you.) What's not to like?
5. Harriet Vane, beloved of Lord Peter Wimsey, both of whom were created by Dorothy L. Sayers. Oh, Harriet. Even before I knew what the term 'shipper' meant, I was longing for Harriet to just give in and marry Peter. It's surprising to consider that she only actually appeared in four of the novels (Strong Poison, Have His Carcase, Gaudy Night and Busman's Honeymoon), as she's such a strong character, and so important in the Wimsey world. Well, okay, that bit isn't as surprising, as Peter spent 3 books usting after her. :oD
Anyway, that's my lot (again). I still have letters left, so if anyone wants to play, speak up.
