I know there's an electro-magnetic field in my bathroom - there must be. Because if there wasn't, the things that I drop in the bathroom wouldn't fly towards the toilet and disappear into the u-bend.
Last time, it was the plastic bottle of liquid rim block but, I admit, I was standing over the toilet when it happened. This time, it was my tweezers. My bathroom isn't large so it's impossible to be that far from the toilet and still be in the bathroom but I was standing by the window at the time with my back to the toilet. I picked up my tweezers, my grip slipped, and they shot towards the loo and disappeared down into it.
There was a similar effect in place in the bathroom where I used to live. One time, I'd had a bath, and I stood up and tossed the soap into the basin. It landed in the basin, shot out and disappeared down the toilet. It was like a trick shot in snooker, only involving a basin, toilet and bar of soap instead of coloured balls and Alex Higgins.
Anyway, suffice it to say that I'm getting rather nervous about my bathroom now. If that field gets any stronger, I might disappear down the u-bend too.

Date: 2005-11-06 10:39 pm (UTC)I told Nancy, and her suggestion is to stop up the u-bend so nothing goes down there. ::rolls eyes:: I'm surrounded by experts. ;oD
