Petition about Roman Polanski

There's a petition online here calling for the Swiss to allow Polanski to be extradited back to the US to face sentencing. I don't know if it'll do any good, but who knows?

i didn't even click on the link...it's all up to the lawyers now.

There is one person I really like on my flist who is all opposed to this...which just makes me congratulate myself for having diversity on my flist.

I've read it, and her one on Jezebel. They're fantastic. Good for her.

Some Hollywood notables have signed a petition to object to Polanski being arrested. It makes me sad that they apparently think raping a 13 year old is acceptable because he's a talented filmmaker.

Yes, and because he's a holocaust survivor. All very sad. Still doesn't excuse raping a child, in my book.
