When I spoke to Christine on Wednesday, she told me that the weather forecast was for snow, snow and more snow, though the BBC website had no mention of it. Yesterday, the carer who turned up (C, my usual carer, was off) mentioned snow - several inches, she said was forecast.

Today, there are some flakes, lazily drifting down from a cloudy sky. So now I'm waiting to see how deep it gets and hoping my parcels (booked for redelivery) still arrive.

The forecast here has been a mixture of 'it might rain' and 'SNOW SNOW, you're all going to DIE!' Which makes choosing an outfit hellish difficult *g*

It's snowing here, in a lazy kind of manner!

The birds are going mad in the garden, especially the blackbirds after the sultanas I put out! Fortunately there are two bushes in our garden that tend not to get much snow beneath them (unless it snows really hard) and so I can put food out under them - and believe me, the blackbirds are fully aware of where the food is, by the looks of the arguing that's been going on! :) We even had a siskin yesterday and I've not seen one of them in my garden for a long time!!

It's supposed to be snowing much harder than this, so I'm not going to complain - they said 6 inches at one point, so I'll take this '1 cm at most' instead!

I think post people are pretty hardy, if the roads are clear you should get your parcel.

I got the parcels - it wasn't just the snow that made me doubt it. I'd got one delivery in the morning, but of only one parcel. I'd arranged to get a few redelivered, so it was puzzling.

The snow's thickened up. There was quite a bit of it by 3.30 when my other parcels arrived.

I'm glad your birds can find food and shelter under your bushes. Poor birdies.

It's still only a light covering here (although I bet it's much more further inland and upland). However, it's still falling, if very lightly, so who knows? How about with you now?

It's thicker than it was. There was quite a bit of it by 3.30, and it was still snowing then.

Well as usual the mention of snow and the UK is thrown into turmoil. Honestly, its ridiculous! More than a cm and they stop the buses around here! It's pathetic. They're predicting more tomorrow, we'll probably see a flake LOL.
