Unseen Doctor Who scripts found

According to this article:

The scripts were early drafts for the first episodes – the collection includes two versions of the first episode and an alternative episode two, and another three scripts as well as the Masters of Luxor stories, which were replaced by the original Dalek serial.

It's amazing what turns up in people's attics. :oD

OOh, that is pretty cool! (I'm very ungrateful though - I want the actual missing episodes, not scripts!)

You never know what'll turn up. There was a version of Cinderella starring Julie Andrews (as Cinders) that was broadcast live and never recorded. A recording of it was found - who knows how - and it was released on DVD. The recording is only b/w while the original was colour, but it's still incredible they had it at all!
