12 – Have you ever attempted an "adaptation" fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?

Sort of.

My Sentinel fusion stories often involve taking the Sentinel/Guide trope and turning another fandom's characters into Sentinels/Guides. I've written a Stargate:Atlantis story set in The Princess Bride universe. I written stories about The Cat that were set in other universes. IIRC, there was a Dracula version, a Lord of the Rings version, and a Pirate version that owed a lot to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Fusions are fun. :oD
