14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?

PG, I think, maybe Teens. The most I include is some swearing. I couldn't imagine me actually writing anything NC-17.

Heh. *High fives* We should start a club for people in fandom who don't write NC-17. :P

(I have nothing against it, though, and I wish people didn't take it to mean I do!)

*high fives* It does seem that NC-17 is the most popular now. Oh well, to each their own.

It annoys me when people insist not liking or not writing something means you must hate it. Gah! Diversity is to be celebrated, IMO.

I think PG-13 is the highest I've gone, for swearing and maybe the whump element in some cases. Not really a NC-17 person either.

I've written a couple of NC-17 slash stories just to see if I could and usually if I venture into Mature in the context of violence.
