What do you think? Does it work or is the pic too small?

Maybe I should use a thinner frame.

I think it works in theory, but the photo seems a little small. Maybe if you have a little more face and less body? It doesn't need to be a lot bigger - and it could just be my eyesight/computer screen! Love the frame choice - it looks a bit like a Victorian cameo, just not in silhouette!

My eyesight's terrible too, especially when I'm tired, so that's why I posted for advice.

That cameo is pretty much what I was going for. :oD

So how about this icon? <---

Yes, this one works! It still has that cameo feel and the bigger image is easier to see! Lovely! :D

Classy! I'm with [livejournal.com profile] leesa_perrie - the picture seem a bit small - more face, less body? The frame is so pretty - it would be a shame to lose it or make it less.

I really do like the frame!

So how about this version? <--- I think it works.

Yay! I think you must have better eyesight than me.

Have you seen the photo I used for the icon? I think Una looked fab in Victorian clothes.

Here's v.2 of the icon. You like?

I don't think I've seen the original photo, but I can see her in the icon and she looks lovely. New icon looks lovely too. :)

Now I understand why the lady seems to have a weird topknot in your userpic.

Ha! I think that proves it's a bit too small. It's Una Stubbs from the Victorian special of Sherlock.

And that's the first time I've been taken for a 78 year old!

No offence meant! Like you I've dodgy eyes so it's no surprise that all I saw in the smaller version was a white lady with her hair up.

It didn't help that there are weird gaps in my cultural knowledge. Una Stubbs? Er... that name's familiar but I'd need goofle it to find our who she is.

None taken. :oD I thought it was funny you proved me right in thinking the pic was too small.

Una Stubbs is a British actress. She appeared in a number of Cliff Richard films, was Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge, one of the team captains in Give Us a Clue, and is now Mrs. Hudson in Sherlock.

Actually, that's the 2nd version. I deleted the first icon off.

But thanks! I'm glad you like it!
