As many of you know, I'm disabled. I have a form of muscular dystrophy that affects my limbs. So, there are times I have to buy disability items to make things easier.

What's the difference between the spoons in the first picture and the spoon in the second?





The handle? Yep. But check out the price too.





That's for one spoon, btw. Why the difference in price? (I know you're ahead of me.) Yeah, because the second one is for disabled people.

It's ridiculous they get away with this! I wish there was some law that made it that they could only charge more if it actually cost more to produce - and I mean a lot more! *hugs*

They have you coming and going don't they? There are products that are just as good or even better, just cheaper. They just label them as 'for disabled' to get the big ticket sticker price. There are a number of items our residents need or use that their family have gotten at the dollar store instead of paying $16-26 for the same or similar thing.
