7 If you were guaranteed that you would be unkillable, indestructible and uninjurable for the next ten years, but you would die once the decade was up, would you go for it?

6 What is your favourite keyboard shortcut?
Paste. I'm so slow at typing now, it's frustrating. I used to be super speedy and now I'm typing maybe 8 words a minute. Whe I'm writing a story, paste comes in very handy for a repeated name. Instead of S-H-E-R or B-L-A and hoping predictive text offers me Sherlock or Blair, I paste it and save a tiny amount of time.
7 If you were guaranteed that you would be unkillable, indestructible and uninjurable for the next ten years, but you would die once the decade was up, would you go for it?
Absolutely not. If it were guaranteed I'd be completely healthy and able-bodied for 10 years before dying, I'd consider it.
8 When you are watching films do you Google the actors to find out if they are still alive and/or what else they have been in?
All the time! I frequently do it to track down where I recognise them from.
9 Have you ever been in a canoe?
Nope.
10 Which children's story, song or TV programme do you think is most fundamentally flawed, plot-wise?
I haven't given this any thought previously. Hmm.
Maybe the Famous Five. They get into that much trouble every single time they're together but their parents still pack them a picnic and wave them on their way? Hell, no! At some point their parents are going to be all, "You guys aren't leaving the house!"
11 Do you prefer coffee or aeroplanes? If you had to choose to eradicate one of the two from all human history which would go?
I prefer coffee so, for myself, eradicating planes would be preferable. However, it would have a massive negative effect upon travel and exports. But, then, would it also have a positive effect because planes are so environmentally unfriendly? Hmm. I might get to keep my coffee after all.

Date: 2019-01-11 12:45 pm (UTC)You do wonder! I never read Famous Five, but there were similar-ish books that I read, and it was the same thing. Some of it's probably that kids had a lot more autonomy back then, but not that much.
