365 day meme - day 13
Jan. 13th, 2019 02:19 pm13 Is there something you once abhorred that you now adore?
I really don't think so. I'm not likely to change my view so radically on something I've abhorred.
I didn't like And Now There Were None that much on the first read as it's a bit of a shock to the system, but now I enjoy it as a really good psychological thriller. I guess that's the closest answer I've got.

I'm a big a-ha fan, and their third album was their attempt to get back to their roots, and steer clear from the teen poppy image that their record producers had tried to guide them into. Some of the songs took a while to grow on me. The last song on that album is one that I used to quite actively dislike, but I like it now. It's this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1lLJ0mTtA0

I think that a-ha song is interesting because of the "you'll end up crying with your mother's eyes". Wow, that's prophetic and rather damning! But the music itself doesn't appeal to me.
