13 Is there something you once abhorred that you now adore?

I really don't think so. I'm not likely to change my view so radically on something I've abhorred.

I didn't like And Now There Were None that much on the first read as it's a bit of a shock to the system, but now I enjoy it as a really good psychological thriller. I guess that's the closest answer I've got.

I didn't like that book much either. I think we discussed it once before, when it was on TV recently - too many unpleasant people!

It's an interesting question, as tastes do change. 'Abhorred' is such a strong word though. I'm a big a-ha fan, and their third album was their attempt to get back to their roots, and steer clear from the teen poppy image that their record producers had tried to guide them into. Some of the songs took a while to grow on me. The last song on that album is one that I used to quite actively dislike, but I like it now. It's this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1lLJ0mTtA0

I think it's like that with a lot of books. So much of it depends on timing and interests.

I think it is good as a psychological thriller. It's definitely not a traditional Whodunnit.

I used to dislike slash fanfic, but its mainly what I read. However, that said, I am picky on what characters I like slashed together.
