365 day meme - days 17 and 18
Jan. 18th, 2019 10:28 amI completely forgot to post yesterday's question, so here's 2 together.
17 If your house was on fire what three things would you definitely leave behind or even surreptitiously throw into the flames when no one was looking?
Nothing! If I hated something that much I'd give it away. One person's trash is another person's treasure, and all that.
18 What children's toy or accessory do you wish they made in adult size?
Rocking horses. I think the really nice ones are adorable. Or, ooh, they could do different adult-sized animals, like elephants or llamas.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you can actually buy these but I bet they cost a fortune.

Btw, I googled to see which toys were around when I watched in the early 70s, and found this shocker about Hamble.
~~~
Hamble was a little doll and one of the original five toys [snip] She was disliked by presenters as she could not be cuddled. According to the BBC website Chloe Ashcroft "did a terrible thing to Hamble. She just would not sit up...so one day I got a very big knitting needle, a big wooden one, and I stuck it right up her bum, as far as her head. So she was completely rigid, and she was much much better after that."
~~~
Apparently Hamble went missing after she was replaced... She's probably still in full time therapy.
