Georgette Heyer icons
Mar. 18th, 2006 09:03 pmI made two icons using pictures from the fronts of her books. Unfortunately, the majority of the books I have have the 'cameo' picture on the front, so they'll be more awkward to iconise. However...here are two I made, under the cut.

Feel free to save 'em to your documents and use them yourself - but please tell me and please credit. :oD

Date: 2006-03-19 03:26 pm (UTC)And I love her detective novels as well - again, except Penhallow. I hate that book. I sold it on eBay recently as it wasn't one that I'd ever read again. I always thought that it was like a warped version of one of her other books, The Unfinished Clue. I much preferred that one.

Date: 2006-03-19 06:07 pm (UTC)Frankly, a doctor's office that requires going up and down stairs for files is a very poorly thought out office. Files need to be close at hand, and you are just asking for problems with falls when you have someone constantly carrying files on stairs.
I think that was a job you are well out of.
Don't worry, the right position will pop up when you least expect it!

Date: 2006-03-19 06:36 pm (UTC)That's why I didn't think to say beforehand that I have a problem with stairs. It's a doctor's office! GAH!
I think that was a job you are well out of.
Me too!
Don't worry, the right position will pop up when you least expect it!
Thanks, Annie. ::hugs:: I hope you're right.
