2. Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

Oh, loads of people, usually to my detriment. Awesome writers who I can't hope to equal; prolific writers I can't match; competent people who outdo me; brainy people who out-think me. The list goes on.

I don't do it to myself, but had my family and professors do it. They compared me with my older (could have joined mensa and was the youngest District Attorney in California history) brother and younger sister. They both never had to study or even show up for class to get straight A's (the highest grade in the US). I had to study and prep. I was compared endlessly to them.
