Have you ever tried her with feathers? They make great (free!) toys. Maybe a cat-friendly carer could pick up a pigeon feather out in the street, or you could ask Christine to collect a few? I've not known many cats who don't enjoy a good feather.

I've often considered feathers. Maybe she could hunt them instead of my fingers!
