That's another series whose DVDs cost a fortune. It's a shame.

Ain't that the truth. At least with "Adam Adamant Lives!", it was reasonably priced when it came out. Quite limited print run I should think, since it was hardly a guaranteed big seller, hence the high prices now. Why "The High Chaparral" should be so blinking expensive, goodness knows. It does crop up on YouTube from time to time, but usually gets removed pretty quickly. Ditto "Bonanza".
