dimity_blue28 How long was your longest drive in a car?
Probably 6-ish hours. My family used to go camping in Devon and Cornwall when I was a kid. It's a long drive from Liverpool, especially when there's 7 of you crammed into a 5 seater car. There was also 7 of us in the 6 man tent, and later 7 of us in the 6 berth caravan in Wales.
What about you guys?

Date: 2021-05-29 11:43 am (UTC)When I did my first degree many years ago, I would drive myself to the once-a-semester residential schools. It took 10 hours each way, I started early so that I could take reasonable rest breaks.
The longest was the time I took a wrong turn and therefore a one-and-a-half hour 'detour'....
