This page has quite a bit of detail about UK crime scenes and how forensics is used to gather evidence. Well, I think it's interesting...especially if you're writing a fic that needs a bit of those details.

The page also links to one detailing the lab work and how to build a case. Talk about fascinating!

Of course, it also shows how TV programmes ignore a lot of the rules. :oD
