11 What's the most benign fairground or playground ride that has properly scared you?

Hmmm. This was 2005 when I was having falls and found it really hard to get up. I hadn't been given a diagnosis then.

It was a ride at Disneyland. It had a sliding floor, so you could stand still and be carried along to the further carriages. I didn't realise and I stepped onto the slidey bit and almost fell. That was terrifying.

I'd say 'historical romance' but I've never found any historical romances that compare to GH at her best. She was amazing.

Her characters are real, flawed human beings who you can't help but love. If you haven't read any, but you like historical romance, give them a go. I recommend The Talisman Ring or The Toll-Gate for adventure.
