She's back, she's back, she's back!

I opened the door to call her in (again) just over half an hour ago, and Bel came running in and squawked wildly at me, before diving on the food plate. So far, she's eaten, had a drink, sat in the bathroom and cleaned herself, and smacked Bast when he started sniffing her. Typical Bel.

But she's home and I'm so relieved!

ETA: And Bast is following her around and squawking at her. I hope he's telling her off!

I so know how that goes. We have six dogs (soon to be 4, one because Mom-in-law is getting it and the other is very old). These dogs have had a long, fruitful life with a dog door. Now we've adopted to stray cats who enjoy the dog door. Collars and electronic fences that keep them on the property don't work. One of them got hung up and almost strangled himself. So, off they go.

I worry about gemini sneaking out but the screen doors help with another buffer. hasn't happened yet. ::cross fingers::

So, so glad that she's back!! Sounds like Bast isn't too happy with her disappearance either! Either that, or she smells like something he doesn't like!!

Heh, that might be it! It was funny to see Bast following her around a bit. I think he and Casper were a bit upset she was gone.
