Is it cold or is it just me? Brrr! And, according to ye olde BBC website, it's going to get colder. With snow! Ugh! I'd say "time to break out the fleecy blankets" but I broke them out weeks back.

Why can't I live in a warm climate? Oh, yeah. The bugs.

::eyes thermostat:: There are days when I think I'd take the bugs.

In other news, Roses have changed the contents of their chocolates. You still get orange cremes, strawberry cremes, and fudge, but the rest? Caramel in chocolate. Of course, there are varieties (liquid caramel, liquid caramel with hazelnut, hard caramel, hard caramel in plain chocolate) but the majority of them are caramel in chocolate. I like caramel, but there's a limit.

I'm leaving the heating on when I go to bed!

And Mark's on nights so I've got no warm body in the bed with me either! (Though there's is a small upside to that no snoring LOL! )

Go for Heroes - they come with the creme eggy ones now - yum!
:o)

They've been going on about the expected snow all day. Can't say I'm looking forward to it - unless I have to bus it, but miss the first one, the rest are cancelled and I can spend the rest of the day in Caffe Nero and the library! Yay!
Alternative scenario is win the mega jackpot on Euro Millions and then it won't matter as I won't be working! Just need to win though...

Oh, really? Are they little mini versions? I find full sized creme eggs a bit sickly, so a mini version would be nice.

Spending a snow day inside is a good idea, I think. I hope Caffe Nero and the library are well-heated!

They are little square eggy things, just enough size! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them!

And so do I!
Chances are I'll be at work though.
Boo hiss.

Those square eggy things sound very intriguing. I may have to investigate. ::dons deerstalker cap::

And um, if you sabotage the bus you can't get into work. Just a thought. ::whistles::

It's a winter conspiracy — the cold literally set in this week, and weather has been miserable since. *shivers and cusses the wanna-be snow that's falling in very annoying rain form, complete with wind too strong to make umbrellas useful*

P.S.

But it's not even winter yet! Is it? Aren't December/January/February the winter months? ::is even more indignant at the cold::

And I hate it when it's raining but too windy to use an umbrella. Gah! I vote we all hibernate until spring!

And you're welcome. I thought it looked nice. :oD

You're not imagining it - it's perishing cold today - and guess which muggins was working in an unheated building with the door open? Brrrrrrr!

Oh! I know! YOU! Do I win a prize? :oD

And I would huggle for warmth, but you just spent the day in an unheated building with the door open. I'm probably warmer than you. But thanks for the offer. ::is totally oblivious to Snails's shivering::

(Poor you though! Are you warmed up now?)

LOL

I have a friend who's trying to get me to move to Florida near her, and she keeps citing the warm weather as the main incentive.

I keep telling her I'll move as soon as all the flying cockroaches (i.e. palmetto bugs) and fire ants are exterminated.

OMG, yes! I have a friend in Australia who invites me to visit...then casually mentions the six inch spider (!!!) she had to chase out of her home. Aaaiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee!

So, does your friend understand why "no way in hell!" is your answer?

She does, but she seems to think she'll change my mind. Considering the last time I went to visit her I came home w/ 5 fire ant bites on my legs (ever fly with fire ant bites? It's HELL!) I think it's pretty obvious....

And then there's the heat! We are currently having very nice warm weather; I think it was about 80 degrees (27 C) today.

In August, on the other hand, the daytime high was 90 (32 C) or above all month, and there were fourteen days when it was 100 (38 C) or higher.

There are times when I miss living up north!
