If anyone's interested in seeing it, it's under the cut.

It was the first time I'd merging two pictures together, and it didn't work at all, so I ended up cutting the smaller image out in order to add it to the other. Well, it worked in the end, and Christine was really pleased with it. :oD

Date: 2013-03-18 11:39 am (UTC)That's gorgeous colouring - it works really well. I forgot to comment on your other wallpapers earlier too *headdesk* They were all lovely - I never think of taking lots of images and fitting them together, and it works so well (when other people do it! *g*)
What program are you using for graphics btw? I'm dithering about downloading/learning Gimp and trying to find anyone who's mastered it.

Date: 2013-03-18 03:14 pm (UTC)As for the programme, I'm embarrassed to admit this...but it's MS Paint. I have another programme, PhotoImpression, that I got free with my scanner donkey's years ago, and I use that for different things, but this wallpaper and the photo ones were all done in Paint.
I tried Gimp but can't get the hang of it at all!

Date: 2013-03-18 04:18 pm (UTC)Goodness, I'm even more impressed - I'm utterly hopeless with MS Paint. The only thing I ever use it for is screen caps... even cropping with it is beyond me!
Hmmmm, I'll maybe give Gimp a miss then. Sounds like I'd be doomed from the start *g*

Date: 2013-03-18 04:58 pm (UTC)I know people don't like MS Paint, but I find it really easy to use...and it's free! Printkey's free too, if you don't have it.
One of the problems, I find, with a lot of photoshopping programmes is that they're so darned complicated. It drives me bonkers when you have to click five buttons just to copy and paste something.
