...the BBC posted 90 images of her life.

They're definitely worth seeing. Even if you don't like or don't admire the lady herself, there's the change in fashions, the styles of photography, or the sheer fascination of seeing someone age from newly born to 90 in the space of one page.

As for the queen, surely even the most ardent republican would find something to admire in her? She's pretty remarkable. Although I don't often think a lot of her dress sense. :D Or her hobbies. Ahem.

Mm, yes. I'm not keen on some of the Royal Family's hobbies either. I'd like them more if they'd stop shooting things.

I admire the Queen - her sense of duty is amazing...and rather sad. I don't envy her or any Royal.
