I read on a messageboard that buying digital download items from Ukrainian sellers on Etsy is a way to get them some money. There are craft designs and artwork. I can't afford to do that much, but at least that's was something I can do. So I did.

The poster warned to check the accounts are at least a year old to avoid scammers.

I left feedback for the items I bought. And today I got a message from ekoovintage, who thanked me for my support and asked me to publicise their shop.

Well, I never bought from them and all their feedback is from March 2022. So I went searching.

Twitter.

Yeah. Not only a scammer and a liar, but a thief too. :-(

UK's DEC charity appeal raises £55m in a day.
An appeal by the UK Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to help thousands of Ukrainians fleeing the conflict has raised £55 million in its first day

The total includes donations from the Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, DEC said.

Hundreds of thousands of people donated to the humanitarian effort within hours of its launch on Thursday.

The total includes £20m donated by the UK government as part of its UK Aid Match scheme.

Fifteen UK aid agencies - including the British Red Cross, Oxfam and Save the Children - have joined together to ask the public to donate.

I only just got Wordle, I had to use a crossword solver, and I'm really annoyed over the word they chose.

Warning: Spoiler.

I've just finished my 2nd full run through The Good Place. Of all of them, I think season 3 is the weakest. It's only the second time I've watched the last episode. I think anyone who's seen it will understand why.

I watched the first episode of Hustle. It was okay. For "criminals pulling cons" I much prefer Leverage.

And I've just finished the first episode of Shakespeare and Hathaway. That was rather enjoyable so I think I'll try the rest of the first season.

This was posted on by Kromulen on Reddit, here. I think it's true. I hope it helps you guys too. ❤️

Every day I care for my animals, keeping them happy, keeping them safe, shepherding them through their day with joy, and without harm. When they get old and approach death, nothing changes. As crazy as it sounds, the day I take them to the vet to be put down is the day that I have been working for all this time - I have successfully taken them the whole way. They did not get lost, they were not unhappy, they got to live their whole natural lives the way I wanted them to live it. We made it. We got there together.

ETA: This isn't about any pet specifically. This is about that horrible decision most pet owners have to make, sooner or (hopefully a lot) later.

It's coming down quite heavily too. I hope it won't stick.

Brrr!

ETA: 11.05. It's turned to rain now.

ETA again: 11.23. And now it's snowing again. It looks pretty.
