Clouds drifting by

I've always found it odd that Daisy doesn't really go for human food. If I have anything involving eggs, she might sniff or lick at them, and mayo garners a small interest, but otherwise no.

Today, I said I'd have some cereal bars instead of breakfast so I could make sure to have time for a shower. By the time Daisy came back in, I was back in bed, the carers had gone, and I'd eaten one bar. The other lay unwrapped on my bedside locker. (Carole unwrapped it as I can't undo most wrappers.) Daisy jumped up on the locker then started sniffing the air. A quick investigation (it was by her feet) revealed the cereal bar.

She was absolutely delighted and promptly set about enthusiastically licking it and nibbling at the edges.

Cooked chicken gets a "Meh!" while Alpen strawberry and yoghurt bar gets eyes closed in ecstasy followed by a very thorough face and ears wash.

Maybe it's down to her being a stray for 6months but it's decidedly odd.

From Tuesday I'll be off bed rest. I'll have to spend every afternoon lying down but at least that's only for 4 hours.

My feet are looking better. My right foot is close to healed.

Christine is visiting on Saturday, so I'll be allowed up for 4 hours while she's here. \o/

Wheelchair.

2. Are you satisfied with your current main mode of transportation (answer to question 1)? Why?
No, not really. I'd far rather be able to walk.

3. Do you think you'll change your means of transit soon? e.g. buy a car, get rid of your car, walk more etc.? If so why?
Unfortunately not.

4. If time distance and money were not factors how do you prefer to get from point A to point B?
Carried in a litter by umpteen handsome guys.

5. What was your worst transit experience?
Being in a patient transport ambulance and my wheelchair slid. They strap the wheels down so they're not supposed to move. They had to stop the ambulance and strap my wheels down again.

This has happened to me twice over the past 2 days, so I thought I'd post a warning in case anyone else gets hit.

I was reading a messageboard and one of the pages was redirected to a Firefox warning page with a pop up urging me to "download this security patch". Fortunately, I didn't as I'm extremely suspicious of that kind of crap.

I went looking and found this from Firefox.

The ads on the affected pages are hacked to redirect you to a fake webpage. If it happens to you don't download the security patch.

I've spent most of the day thinking about Manchester.

I hope and pray all those who are missing are found quickly, if only to give their families peace of mind.

Yep, though I don't often use it.

Kindle, if I can. It's the easiest way to read for me.

I don't think my phone has either of those. It's a fairly simple one.
