GMOH convention booklets
Oct. 18th, 2008 04:51 pmThough I couldn't attend the con, Rae had asked me to make up A5 sized booklets with inserts showing the agenda for the convention. I hadn't tried to do anything like that before, but gave it a go, and they turned out okay.
The inserts were a sheet of A4 paper, folded down the centre to make 2 'pages'.
So, under the cut are the covers I made from the jpegs Rae sent me. Which means quite a few rather nice pictures of Garett. :oD
The front covers (6 variations):

The back of those booklets:

The 'attendees' booklet (only 1 cover for that):

The back of that booklet:

Not bad, huh? I was pleased with how they turned out. Rae said some people even got theirs signed, so I guess they liked them too!
ETA: I didn't colour the pictures in any way. They came to me just like that, so all (all - ha! It took me hours) I had to do was work out a way to make the booklets, then actually make 50 of them in total.

andeincascade, it was
alyburns and
luna_61 who coloured the b/w photos so well. Thanks, Ande! :oD
