Title: Deliverance
Author: Dimity Blue
Rating: PG
Genre: het, episode fix it, non con
Characters: Thomas Watkins, Rose Buck, Elizabeth Kirbridge, Laurence Kirbridge
Word Count: 2,838 words
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Warning: Attempted rape (implied).
Fix it for season 2 episode 3 "Married Love". Spoilers for that episode and the following episode "Whom God Hath Joined".
On AO3.
This really is total nonsense as Thomas Watkins is too self-centred for this. Plus, I don't think he actually realised how drunk Elizabeth was. I just wanted to see Elizabeth saved.

17. What is your ethnic make-up and heritage? Is it important to you?
Well...
I don't exactly know. My DNA shows a good solid chunk of English and Welsh, and I know there's Scottish and Irish mixed in too. I have no idea who or what my father was though.
18. When you close your eyes what do you physically see?
Right now? An after-image of the computer screen.

As I've previously said, it was the Downton Abbey of its day, but far, far better. I posted about season 1 here.
I'm partway through season 2. This particular storyline is about Elizabeth's marriage.
At the end of season 1, Elizabeth (Nicola Pagett) is disappointed to find that her poet beau, Laurence Kirbridge (Ian Ogilvy) is acceptable to her horribly old-fashioned family. To the extent they're all in favour of wedding bells.
Elizabeth wasn't but gave in, possibly to her eternal regret.

11. What's your first name, if you're comfortable saying? Do you think the meanings of your name matches who you are?
We already covered my first name and its meaning a few days ago.
12. What's your birth order in your family? Do you think it affected who you are as an adult?
My birth order is a bit mixed. I grew up with my grandparents' kids, so I was sort of their youngest. Then my mum and I moved out into a flat, so I became an only child.
I think I'd call my birth order confused and, yes, it's had an affect on me.

366 Question Meme for 2020 - 10th March
Mar. 10th, 2020 05:57 pm10. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of fear?
At the moment, the Corona virus. There's so much information/conflicting information out there. Is it one virus or two? Is it really just to distract from Prince Andrew and his shenanigans? (Surely not!)
Should I worry more because I can't breathe properly? A friend of mine is in Rome (she's Italian) and the city is locked down. It sounds terrifying. (It also sounds like my day to day life, which is no comfort to anyone, so ignore that bit.)
Anyway, yeah, that's my current worry.
